I really thought the comics board would be a little bit more lively than this. So I guess I'll start things up by asking you guys which webcomics you read and why you would recommend others to read them too. I read a lot of webcomics myself, and I'll discuss them one by one eventually. Here's the first I'd like to discuss: Zap! www.zapinspace.com/Zap! is a beautifully drawn Sci-Fi comic. It's pretty, it's funny, it's entertaining and it has an awesome plot. It's everything I wish SoL was, and more. Zap is a young psychic who one day finds himself the captain of a rebel ship, locked in a deadly fight with the Galactic Earth Federation, which rules the known universe. That's right... WE are the bad guys. Well, Zap is human too (I think), but that's not the point. Another reason WHY I like this comic so much, is because of its clear development in artistic quality. The artist has obviously spent a lot of time drawing this and has gotten better and better as time progressed. I often notice considerable improvement in my own work, compared to older work, so I feel as if there is some sort of bond of kindred between Zap! and SoL, if I may be so presumptious. Zap! gives me hope that one day I'll be able to produce professional looking comics too.

Yes, yes I can see the striking difference between the first comic and the current one..I wish I could improve like that..I mean gawd!!
From a simple space-themed web comic to a space-themed graphic-novel on the web....
Thanks for the comic...I'm sure I will find a comic that I could share

Zap! is amazing. Like you said, Neko, seeing how the art has improved since the beginning is inspiring. The artist said during the one-year anniversary specials that "webcomis are like artist steroids," and I have to agree. I know I've improved quite a bit since the start of Overcharm :3 Another good one is No Need For Bushido. It has a pretty good story (if a tad predictable so far), but the main selling point for me is the humor. The art progresses from pretty good to absolutely amazing, which is always fun to watch. Also, Looking for Group. If you like the fantasy genre, or fantasy RPGs, you'll love this one. They take all the typical generic fantasy elements, and make something somehow original (and hilarious) out of them. If you have a slightly morbid sense of humor, you'll appreciate it all the more.

Yeah, I know both of those comics too. Well, I'm linking to both anyway. Haven't gotten around to actually reading NNFB yet, but I do read LFG. It's hillarious in a disturbing way. I'll post something new later.

Here's one that isn't linked on your link page. It's really cute and the art is great! With only 26 total comics (fillers included,) there's not much story yet, but it looks like it should be pretty good. I like it anyway. It's about a vampire named Ashly who is very popular and adored at her school. She hates this however and can't figure out why they won't just leave her alone. (Gee, that sounds a bit familiar . . .) She's just met a grim reaper named Renee who everyone is afraid of. Renee doesn't like being feared. Maybe the two should team up . . . Check it out. Salad Days

Here's a few you guys might enjoy: Dresden CodakThough not exactly well-known, Dresden Codak is a science-based webcomic that explores a couple of subjects such as quantum mechanics, dualism, and secularity. Aaron also dabbles a bit in quantum mysticism from a critical, yet humorous, standpoint. The current story (nicknamed "HOB") follows transhumanism Kimiko Ross, hardened by the events of her past, who comes in contact with a wormhole-generating robot from the future. The Abominable Charles ChristopherThis is the comical adventure of a silent and amazingly dim-witted yeti and the animals that share the forest with him. The full scope of the story itself has yet to be revealed (most of the plot is shown in single pages in the form of a few short sentences from Vivol, Moon-Bear, or the mysterious Wind). However, from the last appearance of Wind, it seems as if Charles must somehow convince Mother Nature that man and animal cannot live as one, unified community. Badass Muthas!BAM! is definitely one of my all-time favorite comics. As much as I'd love to give you a summary, I honestly can't do the comic justice. Rice Boy (Completed)This is the definition of an amazing comic. This is what every author or artist strives for. The saga continues in the spin-off Order of Tales Family ManIf you're a history buff, you're bound to love this comic. It follows theologian Luther Levy through Germany in 1768. Amazingly well thought-out and researched. It promises werewolves. Other good comics: Black Tapestries (Hiatus)L e g a c yCrimson ScarsGirl GeniusFullmoon StoriesRandom AssemblySeasonal WindOrder of the StickGivingParadigm ShiftThe Pretentious History of EverythingThree Panel Soul

Hmm, some of those titles do ring a bell, though most I haven't heard of before. Guess I'll have to check those out some time. Thanks for sharing this with us Fenrisulfr! Oh, and welcome to the forum!

I had a feeling it was. But unfortunately, if I am supposed to update daily, I'd also need to be able to make pages daily. And I'd have to stop doing all the other stuff (tutorials, contests, contest prizes (catch my drift?), requests) I do. And even then, some pages are so complex I just need several days to work on them.
So yeah, like you said... incredibly unlikely...
