I'll start us off then. Rurouni Kenshin, a manga about a samourai who refuses to kill people. It's funny too. Got the whole series.
Who else knows it?

I've heard of it, and would love to read it... but I'm currently banned from the library (NOT my fault, long story >_>). I'm not sure they have it anyway.
And I'm too broke to buy manga right now. :S
I was reading about it on Wikipedia yesterday though.

I have the whole series too! I have all the episodes on DVD too. Got them off eBay so I think some kid just recorded them . . . Oh well. Too late now.
But Rurouni Kenshin is amazing. It's a great influence for character designs, personalities, and good action stuff too. Made me want to do a story about a swordsman. We'll see. Swords are cool
I'm a Hiko Seijuro fan girl! I love him to pieces.
You know, the other topic in this section is about Once Piece. Eiichiro Oda, who writes One Piece, was once an assistant for Rurouni Kenshin. He worked on it and stuff too! Cool, huh?
I've read Nobuhiro Watsuki's other work a little too. Buso Renkin is awesome too! I hope they bring his Frakenstein story over too!

Yeah, I know the artist from One Piece was Watsuki's assistant. There was even some reference to it in RK. In one of the last volumes, one of the bad guys had a bomb with the pirate symbol of Luffy painted on it. It was funny. I haven't read any of Watsuki's other stuff, but I have to admit that RK also inspired me to draw a story about a swordsman. Of course, that never got off the ground, but perhaps one day it will, because I really like it.

Heh, we're going to have swordsman comics all over the place!
Watsuki has another comic called "Gun Blaze West" that looks interesting, but it got canceled before the story was finished so I don't know if I want to read it if I can't read the ending. Guess I'll just keep reading RuroKen and Buso Renkin until I decide.

Ahhh! Gun Blaze West got canceled? D8
I read the first chapter in Shonen Jump, and really liked it...

Yeah, apparently it got canceled due to readers complaining that the story moved along to slowly. It's out in volumes now and I took a peek at one. I thought it looked good too. Just not sure if I want to read it or not because of the lack of an ending.
(RuroKen spoilers ahead if you haven't read the whole series.)
Speaking of endings, I didn't like the Rurouni Kenshin ending! I felt cheated! Sano and Hiko are my favorite characters, and we don't get to hear or see anything about them. And Kenshin can't use his Hiten Misturugi (not checking my spelling right now,) anymore! What a bummer and a waste of talent!

Yeah, the author already said he regretted putting nothing about Sano in the last comic, but that he didn't have enough room in the last volume. If memory serves, he did chuck a lot of other stuff in that volume, but oh well... *rolls eyes* And the reason why Kenshin can't use he technique anymore is because he would basically damage his body too much. Kinda like getting RSI or something, I guess. It makes sense in a way. He had always been physically too small for that style anyway. He still kicks ass though... I thought it was a nice ending. Kinda liked the baby too. *giggles like a school girl*

Yeah . . . I know the reasons why Kenshin couldn't fight and stuff . . . I just think it sucks.

I think it's rather realistic, actually. I mean, sure it sucks, but it doesn't make him weak or anything. It just makes him human. I like that.

*pats your back* There there... Not all comic characters can be super human.

Aw, but that's what makes them fun.
Thinking about it, he kind of did the same thing with the Buso Renkin. He had all the heroes give up their special weapons so they would return to a normal live.
Backtracking from the Rurouni Kenshin ending, I did enjoy the Sanosuke chapters where he met up with his family again. That was cool.
