I'm having some problems with my newly build amd64 computer... I was getting some weird memory errors in Windows whenever it would boot up, so I thought of reseating the RAM or moving it to another DIMM slot. I shut down and do this, but when I boot up I get a long beep and a couple of rapid beeps (not exactly sure what kind of beeping it was), then the DVD drive would light up but that's it... No display, no POST, nothing. So, I shut it off, reseated the RAM again, and tried to boot it back up. This time, no beep, no display, my mouse and keyboard don't even turn on... The fans would spin up, my DVD drive would blink but I get nothing. I sure hope it's not a problem with the CPU and/or mobo because it would be an absolute hassle trying to replace those. I have some RAM sticks lying around I could test. It might be bad RAM, but something else could be going wrong. Any idea? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
