... Well, yeah... I think they think it's lame, because Blaziken naturally has a higher attack tan special attack. One that has it the other way around is unusual and perhaps not as strong as a normal one. Well, that's the general concensus anyway. Me, I don't really mind...

Well, from what I can see, Blaziken has high enough base Special Attack that it could be a good element of surprise, since people would generally expect a physical attacker.
It has kind of a small selection of special attacks to pick from, though =/

Yeah, which is why mine are all physical anyway. Charizard, now that's usually a special sweeper. Make him physical and heads will turn.

A max Attack, Belly Drum Charizard is actually a bit tempting...
If only Char had more durability. It would more than likely get KO'ed before it could actually start sweeping, even if it survived long enough to pull off a Belly Drum :S
Maybe Swords Dance/Focus Sash instead...
Maybe...
Charizard holding Focus Sash Adamant or Jolly nature 252 Attack 252 Speed 4 HP
Swords Dance Earthquake Dragon Claw Flare Blitz?
I guess you could go with Shell Bell too, to counteract the Flare Blitz recoil a bit... but then there's the issue of being able to survive long enough to get a Swords Dance in...
I dunno. Surprise sets have never worked out very well for me. xD

Those are some nice options. I think a sweeper would work best if it could switch into some nice boosts, via a Baton Passer. And it would be even better if it could also switch into a Substitute, giving it an extra little shield to hide behind. I'd say you need a good Ninjask to set up some boosts for Charizard, then Baton Pass in Charizard and start wreaking havoc! But how do you get Focus Sash and those other powerup items I keep hearing about?

I believe they come from the battle tower reward place. I bought a Focus Sash there to get a whatsitcalled Rattata. You know, whre you give a really low level Rattata a Focus Sash, then use endeavour after you've been attacked, then finish the opponent off with Quick Attack. I used it against my friend's level 92 Infernape

No, Focus Sash only works if the Pok'emon's HP is full when it gets hit. But then, it's guaranteed to survive. It's kinda like Endure in item form.
FEAR Rattata >>> Arceus x3
They were actually banned on a forum I used to be part of xD I was going to make a FEAR Smeargle but never got around to it. x3
And... hmm... maybe I'll rework my Gliscor build to BP a Substitute to Char...

So that's what they call a FEAR Rattata? Sheesh. But you'd have to be quite a stupe not to be able to counter that. If you see it coming, in other words, if your opponent suddenly sends out a low level against your lvl 100, that should send some alarm bells ringing in your head, right?
Just sweep it away with some status problems, OR switch out when that Rattata is about to use its finishing Quick Attack. Also, it'll only work against ONE Pokémon in battle, and it'll be pretty much useless in a Double battle.
That's what I think, anyway. So, is Gliscor any good as a Pokémon. Just curious, because I don't have one myself.

That was why I was going for a FEAR Smeargle instead of a Rattata. /Slightly/ less predictable xD
But yeah, it's fairly easy to counter once you know what's going on, I didn't really see the point of banning it either. This is the same people who ban Double Team, though.
I've never raised a Gliscor myself (this build is just on paper) but they have pretty decent defense and attack. A lot of people use them as Baton Passers, but they make good physical tanks, too.

But.. when you make a FEAR Ratatta, it is very easy to counter with a ghost type or a weather condition.. But.. It's very easy for Ratatta to counter a ghost.. Use a simple Sucker Punch.

I guess so. I think my money would be on using Protect or Detect at just the right time, teamed up with Toxic or something.

Or have something with Extremespeed.
That's kind of a thinly spread move, though...
Edit: My post count hit twenty! I'm a Nile now! *dances*
