Hello Guys, Early hardcore vocals are very monotone, but they still have some kind of Melody, dynamic or both. The vocals felt like real raw frustration/emotion they got accross and made the songs more memorable. Sometimes they were tense as well but that wasn't always the point, it was more letting out a feeling, an expression. Industrial Communication Video is changing our world and the production methods used by state of the art manufacturing companies. But ever since beatdown/metalcore, screamo, grind and crust happened we have all these more extreme and heavy vocal distortion techniques in punk, yet to me it's less impactful and less memorable because they tend to use one exclusively in the same note over and over in the same way, and it doesn't feel as real/personal to me. Thanks
